Blackstonepon / Blackstone Pon

The purely mineral plant substrate Blackstonepon has an unusual dark color due to its refinement with natural biochar. Pumice, lava and zeolite ensure high drainage capacity and water storage and can thus reliably supply the plants with the sufficient amount of water. Since Blackstonepon is pre-fertilized, the plants are also supplied with nutrients right from the start.

Otherwise use the same as Lechuza Pon

Lechuza-Pon plant substrate is the ideal alternative to conventional potting soil, is structurally stable, supports root aeration and optimally doses the water supply.

The plant has to get used to it again after each change of substrate. Plants that are already bare-rooted, in water or mineral substrate, have hardly any problems here. I personally always recommend rinsing all the soil thoroughly beforehand and washing every root as well as possible. Do not do this in a conventional sink or just with a sieve, this protects the drain and saves you problems.

A move is worthwhile, many plants like the substrate.

Lechuza pots which contain a water level indicator are very simple to use and easy to maintain.

During the adjustment period, it is worth watering moderately and from above until new roots have formed. After that, keep the water level as central as possible.
